Photography Courses for Teens
Richmond Hill Hotel, London
Summer Landscape Photography
Date: Saturday 15th July 2017
Fees: £40. D-SLR camera rental is available for £10.
Looking for the right light, placing the horizon, and finding intriguing compositions will be the three subjects we will be teaching for our teens landscape photography course in Richmond. We will go over how aperture and shutter speed will influence our student’s images, discussing deep depth of field and slower shutter speeds. We will visit Turner’s viewpoint of Richmond, learning how to frame the amazing views in different ways, and then head over to Richmond Park to capture the scattered deer amongst the golden rolling hills.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
The Richmond Hill Hotel set in the beautiful town of Richmond, with immediate access to the Richmond Royal Park and the world famous views over the Thames and Petersham meadows is a perfect location to learn photography and enhance your portfolio. The Hotel building dates back to the early 18th century and exudes elegance and history.
A 10 minute walk from the train/tube station. Parking is free for a 15 minute drop off and a discounted rate of £5 (from £8) for a full day parking is offered to Sharp Shots clients.
If waiting for a participant, why not have something to eat and drink in the hotel and take a stroll into Richmond or a hearty walk through the wonderful Richmond park.
We will be running the Duke of Edinburgh Photography courses at Richmond Hill Hotel from April 2017, please view the DofE page for more info and bookings.
