This week at our after school photography clubs we have been capturing ACTION!

Capturing action is a super fun theme and our students always love it! They get to freeze time with their cameras and get some incredible photos. This week the settings they’ve been using to do this are ‘Take a series of pictures’ and ‘Self timer’. The take a series of pictures setting allows the kids to press and hold the shutter button down and take multiple photos really fast. This is super helpful as it means they can just choose the best photo at the end! We also used self timer and gorilla pods so the students could capture themselves jumping, running, spinning or generally moving around!

To inspire the kids work we showed them some photographs by famous photographers Ferdinando Scianna, Raymond Depardon & Philippe Halsman.
