Creating a mirror image is such a fun photography theme to try. We love teaching it at after school photography club as it gives the kids a chance to see the world in a different way and get creative!
To inspire the children, we showed them photographs by famous photographers Danny Lyon, Gueorgui Pinkhassov & Nikos Economopoulos.
You can have loads of fun using mirrors to take interesting and abstract photographs. You can create floating heads, put your face on someone else, create a mirror image of a landscape and more! The camera’s we use at after school club (Nikon Coolpix W150) also have a mirror setting, so you can double mirror! Here are some of the after school photography club kids best photographs:
The after school photography club children did amazing this week with their Mirror images! The photographs they have taken are creative, fun and abstract!
