Our kids and teens loved photographing London Landscapes on yesterday’s photography courses at Archbishops Park!
We had a brilliant day photographing London Landscapes yesterday. Our Archbishops Park venue is the perfect location to capture everything London has to offer. The venue is surrounded by park so the kids & teens were able to photograph the more natural side of London, as well as being just a stones through from the Thames which meant we could venture out into the more urban city areas too.
The day started with the kids (age 7-11) course. For out kids course we stayed inside the park as there is loads to see and photograph there. We were SO lucky with the weather- blue skies and sunshine! The kids learnt how to use their cameras to take the best possible photo. Our students learnt about the flower setting (close up/aperture) to photograph close ups like flowers. They also leant about their landscape setting (aperture) to photograph big landscapes. We also talked about changing their cameras to black and white.
The kids photographed flowers, trees, statues, selfies, reflections, shadows, and, of course, Landscapes. Here are some of their best photos:
In the afternoon we had the teens course. The teens learn similar to the kids in terms of how to use their camera, but they learn the more manual settings so A/Av (aperture) instead of flower/landscape. We also talked about changing their ISO and putting their cameras on black and white. With the teens we ventured further than the park to allow them to photograph some more urban city landscapes. We walked through Leake Street Tunnel where there is amazing floor to ceiling graffiti which the teens loved photographing. Then we walked along the Thames from Westminster bridge to Lambeth Palace so the students could photograph some famous London Landscapes.
Here are some of the teens best photographs!
As always we are so impressed with the amount of talent we have seen throughout this London Landscapes course. The kids & teens photos are brilliant! To find out more about our upcoming courses for kids & teens, head to our courses page!
