This week at our after school photography clubs the photographic theme was ‘Who am I?’
Each week at after school club we choose a different photographic theme to inspire our students work. This week was our first week back for the Spring term. We have loved welcoming new and old faces to the clubs! Our theme this week was ‘Who am I?’. We wanted to encourage the students to think about what they love and what makes them, them! They then had to photograph those things or act them out to represent what it is they love about themselves or love to do. We were also encouraging the children to play around with all the Nikon Coolpix W100 camera settings to get a feel for the camera and how it works.
We showed the children photographs by famous photographers to give them some ideas. This week we looked at the work of Andy Gotts, Julian Finney & Rene Burri.
It was a fun week of experimenting and having fun with photography!
