This weeks after school photography club is all about photographing Patterns. The children will learn to “look” more in their photographs, looking for patterns in their everyday surroundings. If you really think about it, there are patterns absolutely everywhere! Pencil cases, fences, trees, leaves, hands, the floor, buildings… everywhere! In this session we are teaching the children to really refine their eye by looking for patterns. They will also be discovering which scene setting on the Nikon Coolpix cameras help them take the best photo, and to keep those photographs sharp by looking for the green focus square on the camera. This theme is great to create simple but really interesting compositions.
The famous photographers work we are looking at this week are Dennis Stock, Stuart Franklin and Tim Hetherington.
Keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see how the kids get on throughout the week!
