One of the children’ favourite weeks in our After School Photo Club is when they get to bring in their favourite toy to use a subject to photograph.
We are always so impressed by the ideas they come up with especially when they work together to make their pictures. They get super creative with their cameras when we ask them to think about light and perspective and how they want their toys to feature in their pictures. We ask them to consider the story telling element of their work and how their toy can become the protagonist of their images.
See below for our ‘Sharp Shooters of the week’.
First up is Eliana with her picture of her meerkat toy. We love how Eli decided to photograph her toy from below with the sun behind:
Next is Hal: We thought this image was so good, Hal and his friend running away from the scary toy dinosaur! Clever hey!
Next was James’s picture of his toy Ratatouille hiding behind the fence!
Lastly Rhys submitted his picture of his toy snake attempting to eat his hand!! Super Creative Rhys!!
