That mini heat wave a week ago meant that our theme of “water’ for our after school photo club was very welcome. The children had a lot of fun using their waterproof Nikon Coolpix cameras to create some watery images.

We brought in some fab reusable water balloons for our students to use. They were easy to refill and great fun to pop and throw whilst photographing with a fast shutter speed! We also used buckets to immerse our cameras in which, as you can imagine in the heat, mostly ended up being poured all over their heads, which they thoroughly enjoyed!!

The children got really creative with the angles and perspectives they chose and we were very impressed with the work they made.
