Making a splash by photographing water at after school photography club!

Photographing water is such good fun. Especially when the Nikon Coolpix W100 cameras we use are waterproof! The camera setting we used this week is the action setting (fast shutter speed/take a series of pictures/burst). This setting allows the children to take lots of fast photographs one after the other. This is great because it means it is far more likely they will achieve that perfectly timed shot. If you want to learn how to photograph water, grab a waterproof camera, some water-balloons or cups, bottle or bucket. Set your camera to the action setting and then go for it! Have some fun, be creative and think outside the box.
