Photography Course for Children at Tatton Ages 7 to 11

Fancy winning a free
photography course for your child?

Book our fun photography course for 7 to 11 year old’s at Tatton Park here and, on completion, your child will have the chance to win a second course – just by telling us how they got on and sharing their photographs.

Based in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire; with great transport links to Manchester, Liverpool and the North West, Tatton Park is the inspiring setting of our Capturing Summer photography courses, featuring acres of stunning gardens and the magnificent Great Hall.

Our kids’ photography workshop at Tatton Park is designed to combine a discovery of nature with the fundamentals of photography.  Your child will learn to photograph flowers, trees and ferns as well as the skill required to take action shots of birds, bees and bugs.  During the two-and-a-half-hour course, your child will get to grips with composition and focus as well as learning techniques such as background blurring.

During the three-hour course, your child will learn that there’s a lot more to photography than taking selfies – and will gain self-confidence and new skills while they’re at it.  Let us put your child behind the lens whilst you relax in the coffee shop or explore the fascinating rooms of Tatton house.
