It’s now come to the end of week four of our photography for kids after school club and the children have loved our theme about portraiture. They have been building their skills by learning to focus on the smaller details like facial expressions and backgrounds. They also had lots of fun dressing up in costumes too and using props to make their images more creative. The portraiture theme gave the children a way to explore teamwork as well as shooting on their own, which produced great results and really let them get the most out of shooting portraits. Together they all found interesting backgrounds to shoot against and they are developing their compositions well by directing each other in the images. Here are some of their amazing shots for the portraiture theme. You can see more of their great images from this week and previous weeks of our photography courses for children by visiting our after school photography club gallery here.
