We had a great day Capturing Spring on our Waddesdon Manor Photo Course!
We love running kids and teens photo course at Waddesdon Manor. It is the perfect place to learn photography, with beautiful flower beds, water fountains & stunning architecture. And to top it all off, we even had great weather!
We started the course teaching our students how their camera makes and image, giving them an understanding of which elements work together to create their photographs. We also worked on how to use the aperture setting when photographing close up’s and landscapes. Using it to blur backgrounds (flowers, details) and keep them sharp (landscapes, big pictures). We then head outside to put this new knowledge in to practice! Because the best way to learn is to do.
Here are some of the kids best photographs from the morning of the photo course at Waddesdon Manor:
In the afternoon of our full day photo course for kids and teens, we were focusing on shutter speed. Photographing action can be tricky, but with our venue and online photography courses we give loads of tips and tricks on how to make it easier and how to get amazing action photographs. With new knowledge of fast and slow shutter speeds learned, we head back out to have a go!
We photographed buzzing insects, water fountains and loads of running, jumping and ribbon twirling! Using both fast and slow shutter speeds to create different artistic effects. Here are some of the kids and teens best photographs:
We are so impressed with the work out students produced on this photography course in Buckinghamshire. At the very end of the day we printed out a couple of their photographs each for them to take home and show off. We had a great time teaching kids and teens and they had a great time learning photography. We can’t wait to be back at Waddesdon Manor for our 3 day Summer photography course in August!
