This week at our After school photography clubs we have mostly been crawling on our tummies, laying on our backs, crouching down and climbing up… pretending to be ants! We asked the children to think about what they would see if they were an ant, and to photograph it! Putting your camera on the Macro setting is particularly relevant for this topic as it helps to make sure your close up shots are really sharp and in focus. This is a top tip for making sure you take the best possible ant vision photographs!

At our after school photography classes we like to encourage the children to think about different perspectives and angles to make their photographs more interesting. These techniques are really relevant to this theme, making objects, trees and buildings look even bigger than they are can look really great, and be really fun! Here are a few examples from our “ants” this week!
