We are back for the Autumn term! We have loved welcoming new and old faces to the clubs! Our theme this week was ‘Who Are You?’ This lesson helped our pupils think of creative ways to show who they are through a camera lens. We started with teaching them how to take a photograph, mentioning focus & green squares, we then showed them the fun camera settings to use so they could creatively capture themselves through the camera lens!
We wanted to encourage the students to think about what makes them, them! By thinking about what they do and what they love. They then had to photograph those things or act them out to represent what it is they love about themselves or love to do. We were also encouraging the children to play around with all the camera settings to get a feel for the camera and how it works.
The after school photography club children did an excellent job this week having fun with their camera settings and photographing who they are and what they love! Check out some of their photo’s:
