This weeks theme at after school photography club was Winter photography
Winter photography is great fun (and a little cold…). Our students were asked to think about what comes to mind when we say ‘Winter’. They came up with answers like “cold”, “snow”, “slippery”, “Christmas”, “warm clothes” & “dark”. We encouraged them to then go out with their camera and think about how they can photograph those things! We showed the children photographs by famous photographers Darrell Hayward, & Thomas Hoepker for inspiration.
Here are some of our students amazing photos:
Mid-week rain stopped 2 of our after school clubs from being able to go outside and photograph winter. So instead we shut all the blinds and had fun with light drawing! Here are their photographs:
The after school photography club children did brilliantly this week braving the cold weather (or avoiding it) to photograph winter! If you love these photos, you’ll love our Instagram page! We post all our kids & teens photos, as well as little photos & videos of the kids & teens in action. Click here to find our page!
