The five senses is a great theme for After School Photo Club as it requires the children to really consider how their senses allow them to experience their environment. Interpreting that into pictures really challenges them and it’s great to see them look around the playground and classroom for inspiration.

It was interesting to see what they came up with and how they worked together to pose for pictures of their eye, noses, mouths and ears!  They also considered taste and smell when they looked at plants in the school garden and how they were a combination of senses.

Take a look at the ideas they came up with:

Picture of a single daisy in the grass, Sharp Shots Photo Club

Ivy’s image of a daisy could be touch, smell and sight!

Louisa has photographed her hand to represent touch!

Close up of ear, Sharp Shots Photo Club

This close up of one of the children ear by Kendra is great to represent hearing!

Orange peel abandoned in the playground, Sharp Shots Photo Club

This orange peel abandoned on the playground could be used for Sight, Smell or Taste! Clever work Lena!
