A great way for children to learn how to use different angles and perspectives in photography is to have them look through the view finder as if they were an ant. Keeping their cameras down low and looking at everything from a different position increases their ability to make more creative decisions in their compositions. We asked the children to make pictures looking up into the trees or through the grass. They moved around the playground looking for clever shots that an Ant might get, sometimes using the close up mode or even the self timer.

The children submitted some fantastic shots and really got enthusiastic about the topic. Take a look below at the pictures they made:
