Last week we focused on the theme of action in our photography for kids after school club. The children were encouraged to jump and run around and utilise varying shutter speeds to capture the effects, using different camera functions. They learnt that you can create motion blur with low shutter speeds and that you can create sharp images using a faster one. They also learnt to use the self timer to take photos of themselves in action, as well as working in groups. They made use of props as well and explored action with objects as well as themselves. This week they got a lot of benefit from working in groups and they are learning how working together can help them create better ideas.

Here are some more fantastic images from last week’s after school photography classes. To see even more go to our photography for children club gallery here, or follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for regular updates about what the kids get up to in our photography workshops.
