Today’s course will focus on capturing the summer sun through our camera lenses. Our students will learn how their camera makes a photograph enabling them to take great close ups of Borde Hill’s amazing flowers and sculptures and sharp wildlife images of the bees and butterflies. We will spend the majority of the class outdoors in the beautiful grounds capturing summer through our lenses together. We’ll find brightlycoloured flowers to photograph, learning how to blur our backgrounds, and take show stopping action shots the birds & bugs in the park. Our students will put to use their new knowledge, using their camera settings and composition tips to create fun summer images to show off at home.

Today’s course will focus on capturing the essence of summer. Our students will learn how their aperture, shutter speed and iso affect their images and make great photos. We will teach our students how to use their camera settings creatively, making wonderful images of the summer through their viewfinders. We will work with aperture to blur the backgrounds behind the summer blossoms and shutter speed to capture the wildlife in the gardens of Borde Hill. We’ll look at famous photographers images together, discussing composition and how we can apply the same ideas in our own photographs. The majority of the lesson outdoors using our new knowledge to take stunning colourful shots representing summer at its best!
