‘COLOUR’ at after school photo club

This week at our after school photo club we are capturing COLOUR!

Colour is a brilliant theme to study at photo club. It encourages the students to look for colour in their surroundings. We asked the after school club kids to find every colour of the rainbow and fill their frame with it, as well as try to have every colour in one image. We showed them work by famous photographers Constantine Manos, Martin Parr & William Egglestone for inspiration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They love this theme and we love the photographs they create. The Nikon Coolpix W100 cameras that we use have a brilliant setting to really make the colours POP: ‘More vivid’. Most cameras will have this setting (even DSLR’s) so see if you can find it!
