This week we created environmental Collages in the style of Photographer Stephen Gill.

This week at after school photography club we were looking at the work of famous photographer Stephen Gill. In this series he has layered flowers and foliage on top of photographs and re-photographed them to create multi layered images:







We carefully selected photographs by famous photographers for the kids to choose from for their base image. Once they chose that we went outside to collect leaves, flowers, berries, grass etc for them to layer on top. We were so impressed by the level of creativity and imagination when it came to putting their photos together. Some slightly changed the base image and others completely covered it until it was hardly recognisable. Here are our brilliant Sharp Shooters of the week:
