Scotney Castle is the perfect venue for a Nature Photography course for kids & teens!
As part of our half term courses last week we head to Scotney Castle to run a Nature photography course! The weather was dodgy but the kids and teens were brilliant and really enjoyed the course regardless.
We started with the kids (age 7-11) course in the morning. After learning all about their flower and landscape settings on their cameras, and how to compose and focus to make a great photo, we head outside!
Scotney castle is full of Nature and beautiful Landscapes for the kids to photograph. It was freezing cold but the kids did amazingly and took some brilliant photos. Check out some of their Nature Photography photos below:

Our teens (age 12-15) course ran in the afternoon. It rained pretty much constantly throughout the afternoon but that didn’t stop us getting out and photographing all Scotney Castle has to offer! The teens learnt about using their aperture to control their f/numbers to take close ups or landscapes. They also learnt about how to compose and focus their images.
Here are a few of their best photos!
