Venue: ONCA Gallery, Brighton
Date: Saturday 1st December 2018
Fee: £45 (Optional additional £10 for DSLR camera hire)
Our students will learn how to take great photographs in black and white in today’s course, using different compositional skills to help them arrange their images in their viewfinders. We’ll go over how the camera makes a photograph, using aperture to tell a story and shutter speed to show motion. We’ll look at the famous work of great of black and white photographers: Henri Cartier-Bresson, Vivian Maier and Robert Frank, and discuss how we can create our own great images before we head out together to take them. Our students will finish with a wonderful set of black and white images.
