Brooklands Museum is the perfect venue for learning Plane, Engine & Car Photography!
Kids Photography Course
Plane, Engine & Car Photography is a popular subject for our students. They just love exploring Brooklands Museum and photographing all the amazing automotive gear.
We started the day with the kids (age 7-11) photography course. Our kids group are always super enthusiastic about car photography and excited to learn about how to use their cameras. We spend the first part of the course talking to the kids about how their camera works, which settings they’ll need & how to use them. Aperture (close up), Shutter speed (action) and focus were discussed and perfected before heading out to put them into practice.
The kids worked really hard on their camera settings and experimenting with different angles to get the perfect shot! Here are some of their best photos!
Well done to all the kids who took part in the course – your photos are fab!
Teens Photography Course
In the afternoon it was time for the teens (ages 12-15) photography course. Similar to the kids, our teens just love cars and couldn’t wait to learn about car photography. Our teens photography courses are a similar layout to the kids, but they are much more in depth. We teach more manual settings like changing aperture and shutter speed. This allows for lots of creativity. And it’s a great way to get the teens interested in how the camera makes the image.
Here are a few of their best photographs!
Super impressive photographs from our teens. They’re really taken on board all of the techniques and tips and produced some fantastic work. Well done all!
