Sharp Shots in Schools

For over a decade, Sharp Shots has been inspiring young creatives through engaging, high-quality photography tuition in schools. We deliver bespoke photography workshops for schools both primary and secondary and additionally after-school clubs designed especially for primary-aged children, sparking curiosity and building confidence behind the lens. We provide everything needed — professional cameras, all materials, and experienced photography tutors — so pupils can simply turn up, dive in, and enjoy discovering a wide range of exciting photographic skills.

Our expert tutors are fully DBS-checked and bring extensive experience working with children of all ages. In every live class and workshop, each child is equipped with their own Nikon camera, gaining hands-on experience while learning how to master its features and techniques to capture outstanding images. At Sharp Shots, we make learning the art of photography creative, accessible, and, above all, great fun.

  • After school Zoom clubs allow students anywhere to join in and progress their photography ability whilst having fun
  • Students will learn photography fundamentals and many more useful skills

  • Includes lots of fun and interactive activities and quizzes
  • Students carry out photography activities during the class
  • Any camera or smartphone can be used
  • Opportunity to share work with other students and gain instant feedback from the teachers

In-person After School Photography Clubs

  • After school clubs take place at a range of primary schools across Surrey and West Sussex
  • Classes provide students with a safe space to explore their creativity and have fun
  • Each student will be provided with a digital camera
  • Professional and experienced teachers
  • Students receive a professionally printed 40-page photo journal at the end of the term to showcase their work
  • The after school club can weather regardless of the weather
