This week has gotten off to a fantastic start at after school photography club with our new theme “shapes and textures” where the children really have to use their imagination to capture the best shots.

As always at our children’s photography workshops, the students had to use their skills to ensure the shots were sharp and in focus, particularly for the textures as they needed to get close up to the items and avoid the shots becoming blurry. They dealt with this really well and it was great to see them understanding the camera’s functions and how to take a great shot.

The children really used previous themes to help them with their photographs – for example they used “perspectives” to make the textures really stand out rather than looking flat.

You can see some of the best shots below and to check out photos from our previous children’s photography workshops head to our Gallery.
