It’s the end of week five of our photography for kids club and the children have been learning about famous historical photographers. They were shown a few images from different photographers and chose their favourite as inspiration for their own photos. Overall the kids loved three images in particular by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Paul Strand and Eve Arnold (shown below) and they made some really fantastic versions. The kids really enjoyed the movement and action in the first image and had lots of fun recreating it. They also loved the use of shadows and negative space in the other images. Here are a few of the great images the kids came up with this week. To see more visit the children’s photography course gallery here to see all the images from our kids after school photography club.
