We may all be hoping for Spring, but Winter is still very much upon us! So that’s why this weeks after school photography club theme is Winter! You can take some amazing photographs of this season, especially when theres frost and ice around. We will be asking the after school club children what they think of when someone says winter, and then how they think that could be interpreted in a photograph. We will be inspiring them by showing some photographs by well known photographers. This week we will be showing the kids the work of Darrell Hayward, Thomas Hoepker and an image from Getty Images.

The aim of this weeks photography club is to learn:

  1. How to portray a season into an image.
  2. Use their camera scene settings to aid in portraying their subject creatively.
  3. Continue to use their focusing green squares/yellow squares to take sharp images.
